I am a 40 something mother of 2 teens, f/t employee, p/t student homesteader. My BF,kids and I live on .5 acres (most of which is the garden) in rural Bath County, VA. We garden organically and each year step up to the Battle of the Bugs.

SO happy that you made it here! My whole family is from Virgina-- the eastern shore and have an oyster farm there. A little different than the gardening world, but still farming :) Oh, and no, you're not crazy about loving weeding... I find it very satisfying, like finishing the dishes or something.
