About me

United Methodist Minister in southeastern North Carolina -zone 7b or 8 depending on the chart used.

Current project

I have two and three year old dwarf fruit trees of all kinds except cherries. I don't like to feed the birds cherries. I also have brambles, figs and old grape vines. Current project is apricots. I had rapid growth on a two year old Wilson Delicious (citation) and then it bloomed and died - from inside out. For 2011 I will be planting a Goldkist and a Garden Annie near a Flavor Delight aprium. Hints and Advice appreciated!

Hello gardners! I have been digging in the dirt from my youth. Watching plants grow and now fruit trees produce is close to heaven. I look forward to reading digthedirt for years to to come.
