About me

I teach cooking, baking, cheese making and food preservation classes from my home in Portland, Oregon. Our garden include about 1300 sf of raised beds, including 25 asparagus plants, berries, rhubarb, horseradish. We'll be adding back artichokes this year and grow the usual assortment of annual vegetables.

Current project

Getting spring greens sown, repotting tomato, eggplant, pepper, and artichoke seedlings. Potting up grape, kiwi, and fig scions I picked up at the Home Orchard Society Scion Exchange.

Type of gardener

Fair weather! I don't like working in the cold and rain.

Favorite garden activity
