About me

Hello Friends; I am an "AVID" gardener and love everything about gardening, roses & botany. It is hard to believe that with a childhood dream of becoming an Technical Engineer, I end up as a botanist with a passion. I told myself once I should work at a nursery part time, but a different direction took place. Unexpectedly, this aspiration was overtaken by a growing interest in advanced botany courses in plant morphology and vascular plant anatomy after I entered college. Go figure that one. ;) Having lost my home to the foreclosure fiasco, as so many great Americans have, I have recently moved into a tiny 2 bedroom condo with practically no patio space. All my daughters are grown and here is where my love began.. Spending alot of time at my home office, I find so much pleasure just working on my tiny garden and trying to find ways to beautify my home office more.

Current project

Right now... I am looking to start a "water tub garden", on my very small patio at my condo. Also I am maintaing a Feng Shui Garden for peace & relaxation purposes and to maintain synergy & balance in this chaotic world in which we live.. I have numerous plants and a very large patio table that I need to rid myself of to make room for more roses & plants. Being on a tight budget, I am frugal yet at times splurge on a bag of seedlings and I find myself ever so happy! Happy Planting.
