About me

I love gardening and have spent the last 20 years developing the gardens around my home. I collect dayillies and iris. I also grow orchids and am involved in a local orchid society.

Current project

pulled out some huge yucca plants that had been "space fillers" now I'm working on fine tuning those areas. I also spread 8 yards of mulch this spring!!

Type of gardener

Your pictures are wonderful! We'd love to get a "tour" of your amazing garden... Glad to know after 20 years, you're still fine tuning. I have a lot of those spots :-)

I am going to try to post a garden tour, I want to wait until some of the daylillies are blooming, some have buds, the stellas are blooming but they are so common. I have some really interesting ones that were hybridized by a local woman I know.

I love orchids! I was blessed to work in a tropical greenhouse last year here in the mountains of Colorado and had an opportunity to care and love for all sorts of orchids. I'm a novice, but appreciate their beauty! I look forward to reading your posts, seeing pictures, and learning more about orchids from you!

Kristie
