About me

I'm a new gardener with a small city lot in Seattle where I grow mostly berries and herbs, plus a small strip of veggies. Gardening scares me. I also have a rural vacation property that I totally ignored until I hired goats to eat all the ivy and blackberries and discovered a lovely yard-in-hiding.

Current project

Cleaning up after my garden's first winter. Figuring out what survived and what I need to do going into Spring. In the back of my mind is how to cultivate a vacation landscape in absentia, or I guess how to get nature to do it for me.

Type of gardener

Fair Weather Garden Dreamer

Favorite garden activity

Spacing out while eating berries sitting on the stoop. (Is that a garden activity as long as I grew the berries??)
