About me

I am a backyard gardener, mostly vegetables, some flowers. Married to a permaculturist and naturopath and a lifelong organic farmer/gardener, I have learned by being an apprentice. I also cultivate orchids and they grow and grow old under my care. My relationship with my orchids is most surprising to me because it feels reciprocal and deeply personal.

Current project

Finding a way to move back to the west coast.

Type of gardener

Backyard (finca)

Favorite garden activity

Interplanting

garden wall

which part of the west coast do you want to move to? I love that description of your relationship to your orchids-- they are the most beautiful plants in the world to me! I hope to see pictures of them soon :)

I am so interested in permaculture- it's a bit of a mystery to me but sounds fascinating!
