description for "Winter Squash and Pumpkins: Cucurbita maxima 'Seminole'"

Buff colored, bell shaped fruit characterize 'Seminole' pumpkins. This unique variety produces colorful fruit with firm, sweet tasting orange flesh. These pumpkins grow on vigorous vines that require ample space to spread. An excellent choice for hot or humid climates, and pumpkins can be stored for up to a year at room temperature. Additionally, they are disease resistant. Enjoy in soups, stews, roasted or fried. Maturity in 95 days. Edited by S. Derr
