From its stems to its pods, 'Burgundy' okra is bursting with color. This early season variety, boasts deep red/maroon colored leaves, pods and stems, all topped off with white spring blooms. Its narrow, spineless and ribbed pods can reach up to seven inches in length and sport a distinctive taste. This short season selection tends to be more disease resistant than other varieties.
