description for "Kale: Brassica oleracea 'Dwarf Siberian'"

Plant early and harvest late with this short season kale. Long after most varieties have bolted and become bitter, this selection maintains its look and taste. Often described as being "kitchen ready", its frilly, dark green leaves form a cold tolerant barrier over its rosette. This in turn, shelters it from cooler weather and ensures its taste is kept intact. An excellent addition to stir fries or enjoy steamed. Maturity in 50 days. Edited by S. Derr
