description for "Cucumber: Cucumis sativus 'Long de Chine'"

A colorful addition to any garden, is this unique cucumber variety. The show of color begins with its green/purple leaves. This is followed by light pink flower spikes. As these spikes fade, they give way to bright green colored fruit. Commonly used as a slicer, its taste is both sweet and mild. Maturity in 50-70 days. Edited by S.Derr
