description for "Cucumber: Cucumis sativus 'Jaune Dickfleischige'"

A result of two cultures colliding, is this hard to pronounce cucumber. Both of French and German heritage, this variety is both odd and unique. Its yellowish/green fruit matures to a lemon yellow color. These fruits can also weigh up to five pounds a piece. Their taste is very crisp and flavorful. This cucumber is also very rare in the US market. Maturity in 80-90 days. Edited by S. Derr

History:

Seeds collected from France and Germany
