description for "Cucumber: Cucumis sativus 'Fin de Meaux'"

An excellent choice for pickling, is this cucumber from France. This productive variety has a short maturation cycle and a long harvest season. Plant directly in ground in Spring and enjoy until Fall. Its short, round green fruit is very sweet and tasty. Harvest often while fruit is young, as its taste is at its peak. Not always widely available in US market. Maturity in 50-70 days. Edited by S. Derr
