description for "Cucumber: Cucumis sativus 'Boothby's Blonde'"

Known for its taste and not its appearance, is this Heirloom cucumber. Its yellow/cream colored fruit is offset by its plump, oval shape and small black spines. Its sweet, delicate flavor is best enjoyed when fruit is about 4" in length. An excellent slicer or used in salads. Maturity in 50-70 days. Edited by S. Derr
