description for "Beans: Vigna unguiculata 'Red Seeded Asparagus'"

Hot or humid temperatures won't diminish the flavor and yields on this exceptional bean. This pole bean variety grows up to 10 feet tall and can withstand full sun and other inclimate weather conditions and still produce an abundant harvest. Long seed pods are produced late in season. These measure up to 24 inches in length and are great for cooking when mature. If picked earlier, they are both tender and tasty as snaps. Maturity 75 days. Edited by S. Derr
