description for "Beans: Phaseolus vulgaris 'Henderson's Black Valentine'"

Poor soil is no obstacle for this amazing bean variety. This pole bean produces sweet green pods and jet black beans. If picked early, its a great stringless snap, if mature, it is excellent in soups and casseroles. Plant in early Spring and harvest in late Summer or early Fall. Maturity in 53 days. Edited by S. Derr
