description for "Beans: Phaseolus vulgaris 'Feijao Fidalgo'"

Relatively new to the market, is this exciting burgundy colored bean. Hailing from Portugal, this bush bean has long, flat, green stringless pods, that give way to burgundy colored beans with a white eye. Its light nutty flavor is ideal in soups and casseroles or if picked early, as a snap. Maturity is 50-75 days. Edited by S. Derr

History:

Seed is from Portugal
