description for "Grapes: Vitis labrusca 'Champanel'"

Full sun, dry climate and poor soil, won't deter the productivity of this grape. A relatively new variety, it is ideal for Southern climates. This selection boasts large, black grapes with thin skin and juicy flavor. Harvest begins in July and can last until Fall. Hardy in zones 6-10. Edited by S.Derr
