description for "Pecans: Carya illinoinensis 'Pawnee'"

A regal presence in any landscape, is this medium sized pecan tree. Reaching heights of only 30 feet, it is an excellent choice for smaller sized yards. Its Fall harvest yields large sized, buttery flavored kernels. It has been reported that some trees can live for hundreds of years in the landscape. Hardy in zones 6-9. Edited by S.Derr
