description for "Zinnias: Zinnia 'Green Envy'"

'Green Envy' zinnias belong in every flower arranger's garden! its unusual vivid chartreuse color sets off brighter summer flowers with style and pizzazz and harmonizes equally well with soft pastels. Dutch growers specially selected this semidouble 'Green Envy' seed for best flower form and color. Easy to grow and quick to bloom, zinnias give more flowers with less effort than other summer annuals, so you can enjoy eye-catching bouquets all summer long. Zinnias grow readily in ordinary garden soil in full sun. For large and abundant flowers, thin before seedlings get crowded; adequate spacing and regular even watering help keep zinnias productive and free from mildew. Cut flowers with long stems well back into the plant to keep plants branching low and producing nicest flowers for summer long bouquets. - edited by dtd pbcouchman
