description for "Tropicals: Anthurium radicans x dresslerii"
Large, stiff, puckered leaves of medium green attached by beautiful dark red petioles. New growth is red-tinged and shiny when small, becoming all green and retaining their shine for quite a while. Flowers are not in the league of A. andraeanum so this plant is lovable strictly for its foliage. Oh yes - and for it's ease of care: low to medium light, water it when you think of it. Some sources say this plant likes humidity - maybe so, but it doesn't complain if it doesn't get it; in fact, it rarely complains at all. A top-notch houseplant whose only real drawback is that it is not easy to find.
