Origanum majorana 'Sweet' marjoram is popular in southern France where its leaves and shoots are used for seasoning. Sweet Marjoram has a similar flavor to Oregano, just a bit sweeter and more mild. Blooms from late June through August. Perennial in zones 8-10. Planting depth: 1/4 inch. Days to germination: 7-10 days. 60-80 days to maturity.
