Ocimum basilicum 'Persian Anise' is wonderful as a dried herb for cooking. 'Perisan Anise' basil has an aromatic, anise-like flavor. Fragrant leaves have a purplish tint. Productive, 2-2.5 ft. shrubby annual. Planting depth: 1/8-1/4 inch. Days to germination: 6-14 days. 75-80 days to maturity.
