Malus domestica 'Hudson's Golden Gem' was found in a hedgerow in Oregon, and first offered by Hudson's Wholesale Nursery in 1931. 'Hudson's Gold Gem' is a large, cone shaped yellow russet apple with sweet, crisp, juicy flesh. Great for fresh eating. Ripens late. Excellent storage.
