description for "Apples: Malus domestica 'White Pearmain'"
Malus domestica 'White Pearmain' is the oldest known English apple from 1200 AD. Medium-sized, pale green fruit is usually blushed with red on one side. Firm crisp flesh and aromatic, mildly subacid flavor make 'White Pearmain' a wonderful dessert apple. Adapted well to mild climates. Matures very late and an excellent keeper.
