Chenopodium quinoa 'Temuco' is a delicious white-seeded variety. 5-6 ft. plant produces yellow-green or brilliant red seed heads. 'Temuco' is one of the best choices for maritime climates, also grows well in a variety of climates. The whiter the seed in a quinoa, the less bitter the coating, called saponin. Temuco is particularly white and delicious. Days to germination: 7-14 days. 100-110 days to maturity.
