Brassica oleracea 'Shelton' produces flattened round, very large, 7-9 lb. dense green cabbage heads suitable for kraut processing and/or fresh market with long term storage capability. Good internal structure with a short core, substantial wrapper leaves, and very good holding ability in the field. 'Shelton' is tolerant to tip burn. Planting depth: .25-.5 inch. Days to germination: 3-10 days. 150-155 days to maturity.
