description for "Beans: Phaseolus vulgaris, 'Cascade Giant Stringless'"

Phaseolus vulgaris 'Cascade Giant Stringless' is a fine variety for the home gardener, yielding a profusion of good-tasting beans. 'Cascade Giant Stringless' is very adaptable to different climates. An improved strain of Oregon Giant. Pole beans do best with trellising. Plant 4 seeds/ft on each side of the trellis as soon as frost danger has passed. Beans do better when inoculated with rhizobial bacteria prior to planting. During germination, keep seedbed evenly moist. Planting depth: 2 inch. Days to germination: 9 days. 60-65 days to maturity.
