description for "Beans: Phaseolus vulgaris, 'Royal Burgundy'"

Phaseolus vulgaris, 'Royal Burgundy' produces delicious, round and stringless deep-purple pods. 'Royal Burgundy' is a 16-20" stocky and durable bush. Prolific producer even in cooler conditions. Though color fades when cooked, this bean is a show-stopper on the farmstand. Planting depth: 3/4-2 inches. Days to germination: 6-12 days. 50-55 days to maturity.
