description for "Zinnias: Zinnia elegans 'Magellan™ Ivory'"

'Magellan™ Ivory' zinnia produces large blooms of soft ivory. 'Magellan' zinnias are heat lovers that will add excitement to your summer garden. The Magellan dwarf zinnia series introduces bigger, more abundant blooms. The flowers are fully double, petal-packed, and reach up to 5 inches wide. They bloom profusely on neat, well-branched dwarf plants about a foot high. Magellan blooms about 6 weeks after sowing and lasts until late summer. Perfect for the front of the annual bed, containers, or as accents in the patio garden and perennial border. Deadhead the old flowers to keep new buds arising. --edited by dtd siegelgirl

History:

Zinnias elegans is native to Northern and central Mexico.
