description for "Scented Geraniums: Pelargonium 'Joy Lucille'"

'Joy Lucille' scented geranium is a large, sprawling hybrid with large, velvety, medium green leaves and pink flowers with purple centers. 'Joy Lucille' has a strong minty fragrance which is released on a hot day, perfuming an entire patio. This belongs in the garden or in a very large (14-18") pot. As with most scented geraniums, 'Joy Lucille' is a tender perennial and overwinters outdoors in zones 8-10; should be potted and brought indoors in mid-autumn in colder climates. Gardeners in northern zones to keep the tender perennials and desirable annual herbs indoors during the cold months. -- edited by dtd pbcouchman
