description for "Sedum and Stonecrop: Sedum sieboldii"

Sedum is easy to grow with little attention or care. It doesn't like being over watered or over fertilized. Forgiving of sun and less than great soil, it's a terrific plant for beginning gardeners. Sedum Sieboldii, also called October Daphne, has lovely blue scalloped foliage that turns various shades of pink in colder temperatures. Blooms are hot pink and appear in early to mid fall. Great in containers. Deciduous.
