description for "Perennials: Ligularia japoncia"
Ligularia Japonica is a bold tropical looking perennial. However, looks can be deceiving. Its glossy green, jagged leaves give it an island feel but the recognizable yellow daisy flowers negate the initial appearance. Not withstanding, this is still a stunning plant. It will thrive in hot sun and is cold tolerant in the winter. Hardy in zones 4-7. Edited by S. Derr
