description for "Perennials: Eryngium tripartitum 'Sea Holly'"
Not much time or effort is needed with this unique Sea Holly. It will thrive in full sun, with little water or maintenance and still produce gorgeous, interesting blooms. These thorny vibrant blue flowers resemble those of wild Thistle. While deer and rabbit will resist it, butterflies and bees flock to it. This perennial can be invasive. Hardy in zones 2-10.
