description for "Perennials: Pogostemon patchouli"

This hard to pronounce but widely used plant is both a perennial and an herb. Patchouli is commonly used in perfumes and other cosmetics. If the leaves are rubbed together, they emit an exotic mint scent. This plant tends to be very forgiving if not watered frequently. Hardy in zones 10-11. Edited by S. Derr
