Cornukaempferia aurantiflora reaches 1 foot tall and produces lovely green foliage with silver spots and bands on the upperside and burgundy on the underside of the leaves. In the summer, Cornukaempferia aurantiflora produces yellow-orange flowers at the base of the leaves. Likes shade and damp soil. Will go dormant in late fall and appear again in late spring. Hardy in Zones 8b–11.

Native to northeastern Thailand.
