description for "Tulips: Tulipa humilis 'Odalisque'"
Species tulip 'Odalisque' bears bold outer petals spirea-red frosted with a silvery glow. 'Odalisque' has inner petals that are beetroot-purple with an outer base striped green and a large buttercup-yellow inner base. Species tulips are easily grown and long-lasting in sun, naturalize very well, and are wonderful additions to rock gardens and containers. Be sure to provide adequate drainage. -- edited by dtd pbcouchman
