description for "Rose of Sharon: Hibiscus syriacus"

Patience is needed with this beautiful Hibiscus. This deciduous shrub won't produce any foliage until late Spring. Once the weather warms up, leaves and color explode. With its white petals and cherry red centers, its a great addition to the garden. It works well in containers, hedges and privacy blinds. Hardy in zones 5-8. Edited by S.Derr
