description for "Amaryllis: Hippeastrum 'Flair'"

There's only one amaryllis with a 'Flair' for the dramatic. Performing right on cue, the white, star-studded blossoms of this large-flowering actress are a showy salmon in color, and bloom in casts of 4 on top of 2 20-inch-tall stems. No understudy can compete with 'Flair' that belts out 8-inch-wide blooms. Keep the curtain from falling after 'Flair's' first flowering act is finished by planting several pots for a long-running production. -- edited by dtd pbcouchman
