description for "Amaryllis: Hippeastrum 'Angelique'"

The exotic blooms of 'Angelique' are a cheery sight any day of the week. The light pink petals bear a white throat. Amaryllises are easy to grow, even for the novice gardener. A clay pot, potting soil, good sun, and water is all that's needed. 'Angelique' is a fuss-free plant that produce one or two 18-inch tall stalks topped with three and four large 8-inch trumpet blooms--which bloom just six to eight weeks after potting! -- edited by dtd pbcouchman
