description for "Amaryllis: Hippeastrum 'Furore'"

Large-flowering amaryllis 'Furore' bears bright red flowers that span up to 10 inches across. These trumpet-bloomed beauties grow 20 inches tall and average 2 stems per bulb--that means lots of blooms for an extended period of time. 'Furore' makes an excellent specimen planting or can be planted in groups of three to make a total splash of a centerpiece. Give 'Furore' as a gift or pot it up yourself to enjoy its bright blooms this winter. -- edited by dtd pbcouchman
