description for "Ornamental Grasses: Spartina pectinata 'Aureo-marginata'"
Prairie Cordgrass is tough, adaptable and found world wide. Leaves are green with gold margins. Flower stalks are yellow in autumn and are a nice addition to floral arrangements. Prairie Cordgrass can be considered invasive due to it's vigorous spreading growth habit. Drought tolerant. Grows to 6 feet tall and 4 feet wide. Cut back to control size.
