description for "Delphiniums: Delphinium 'Alice Artindale'"
'Alice Artindale' 'is a small Elatum with double, mauve flowers with blue margins. Makes a wonderful cut flower. Perennial delphiniums can be grown in most locations in the US except in places that are very hot and humid in the summer months. In warmer areas, delphiniums will need a little shade in the hottest part of the day. Mulch well to retain moisture and keep the roots cool. Cut old stalks back when new growth is a few inches tall. Well fertilized plants might bloom again in the fall. Perennial delphiniums are cold hardy.
