description for "Perennials: Arisaema triphyllum"
This Arisaema variety is not a readily available perennial. True to its name, this plant is best described as resembling a water pitcher. Large leaves emerge from the hearty stalk in Spring and eventually take the shape of a water pitcher. The outside is lined with black/green/ brown stripes and will produce dormant red berries towards the end of the season. Usually found in bogs or swamps, it is an interesting perennial. Edited by S.
