description for "Amaryllis: Hippeastrum 'Honeymoon'"

'Honeymoon' bears deep, rose-red single blooms and is a delightful gift for the holidays. This amaryllis is one of the the increasingly popular African strain that produces huge, beautiful flowers on shorter, sturdier stems. Once potted, 'Honeymoon' will bloom in about 4 to 6 weeks. Each bulb produces 1 or 2 stems, which are topped with up to 8 gorgeous flowers. -- edited by dtd pbcouchman
