description for "Coral Bells: Heuchera 'Chatterbox.'"

With beautiful rose-pink flowers, 'Chatterbox' is one of the longest-blooming, most useful perennials around. Coral bells begin blooming in early June. We suggest deadheading to prolong the bloom season. 'Chatterbox' will grow in any well-drained alkaline soil. Some good plants to associate with coral bells include brunnera, shasta daisy, scabiosa, daylily (especially dwarf) and most any plant with a vertical emphasis, such as iris. Although coral bells bloom in late spring, the flowers are usually not nearly as showy as the foliage. Provide partial shade with rich, consistently moist soil that has adequate drainage. Coral bells hate wet feet! Does best in cooler climates. – edited by dtd pbcouchman
