description for "Geraniums: Geranium 'Johnson's Blue'"
'Johnson's Blue' cranesbill color is not true blue, but a little closer than G. himalayense. This is a profusely blooming variety that should be cut back after flowering to promote a rebloom. It looks good with Euphorbia 'Polychroma'. Very hardy, these are not the annual greenhouse geraniums (actually Pelargonium) found in many gardens. In general, they are free from insects and disease and don't require frequent division. Well drained soil is beneficial to all varieties. -- edited by dtd pbcouchman
