description for "Scented Geraniums: Pelargonium 'Aroma'"

With a name like 'Aroma,' you expect something very fragrant--and you get it. Just rustle the gray/green, curly leaves of this plant to release its sweet scent. Plant 'Aroma' in well-drained soil in an area that receives full sun, or in a pot on a sunny patio. The tiny flowers are white and appear in sprays. An architect used 24 of these in hanging baskets for the covered walkway of a 19th Century restoration in Zone 5, and they are spectacular! Tender perennial. Overwinters outdoors in zones 8-10; should be potted and brought indoors in mid-autumn in colder climates. -- edited by dtd pbcouchman
