description for "Geraniums: Pelargonium 'PAC Valentine'"

'Valentine' geranium is one to fall in love with! Magenta centers that appear to be hand-painted on deep pink petals create the shimmering effect of this 'Valentine' geranium. Plant it where you can often enjoy the large showy flower heads that seem to float over the medium green leaves. Try mixing with silver thyme and Cuban oregano. A perennial in warm enough climates; treated as an annual in most American gardens. Plant in well-drained soil in full sun. Once established for the season, it will tolerate temporary periods of drought. -- edited by dtd pbcouchman
