description for "Amaryllis: Hippeastrum 'Snow White'"

'Snow White' is a showy amaryllis that earns its name from its double pure-white blooms. The increasingly popular African strain produces huge, beautiful flowers on shorter, sturdier stems. Once potted they generally require only 4 to 6 weeks to begin blooming. Each bulb will produce 2 stems and up to 8 flowers. -- edited by dtd pbcouchman
